the teacher sick kit

No human wants to be sick, let alone a dedicated teacher. But, it happens.

It's easier said than done to take a sick day without feeling guilty, especially if that one day turns into days, or weeks.

Prevention is better than cure, however, it's not always 100% guaranteed.

The regular advice isn't cutting it - adequate sleep, focus on diet, keeping physically fit.

Have you tried...

  • opening windows on opposite sides of the room to create cross-ventilation to help move virus particles from the classroom?

  • asking your leadership for a suitable air purifier to be placed in your classroom?

  • placing your work clothes in the washing machine as soon as you arrive home from work?

  • washing your hands in the staffroom before you eat?

  • encouraging students to wash their hands before eating?

  • wiping down classroom door handles throughout the day?

  • checking in with your doctor for a blood test to rule out any deficiencies?

  • consulting a naturopath for any additional immunity support?
